Although I've not scrolled through every thread on these pages, I don't seem to be able to find any reference to JCG's work, which is mostly science fiction/alternate reality.

I started off with Red Robe and Remix, but the books that really interested me are the "Arabesk" series - Pashazade, Effendi, and Felaheen - which is a trilogy of cyberpunk thrillers set in a post modern Ottoman empire city called Iskandria (I took that to be Alexandria, personally).

I've also read most of his other work such as "End of the World Blues", "9Tail Fox" and "Stamping Butterflies", but have to admit these three titles left me scratching my head somewhat...

WOW - 106 views but no-one has added a comment...so I take it JCG isn't that well known/popular!

I read Pashazade a few years ago and thought it was reasonably good but nothing particularly special, other than the Arabic setting which made a nice change from most SF settings.

I did intend to read the sequels, maybe I will some day.
