Writing live online

It's an interesting idea. I'm not one to watch somebody else write, though, when I could be doing it myself!

Ditto on writing myself.

However, when I tried to access the link I couldn't, because there too many people already viewing. So a good gimmick. It would never work for me. I can't see 000s of users watching me fuss over comma's - put one in - delete - move back a word - delete and put back and then change my mind and put in a full stop. Riveting stuff, eh!

You could fake it by typing into a file, clearing out most, though not all, of the typos (and the corresponding corrections**), and then feed the file, a character at a time (with a routine to vary the inter-character gap), to the live page. (You wouldn't be able to do this with a video showing your typing, obviously.)

** - The correspondence would be in the form of letters, I assume. ;):)

Could someone explain to me what the point of the internet is? I thought I had it for a while, but it's escaped me again.
