I couldn't work out which forum to put this in, sorry.

Anyway, I saw this on the British Fantasy Society's Facebook page earlier so thought I'd share.

The Alchemy Press have several anthologies open for submission. Tis a paying market.

Also interesting for novella fans:
This year also sees the launch of Alchemy Novellas: these will cover almost all areas of Fantasy – that’s heroic fantasy, alternate world fantasy, urban fantasy, supernatural, dark crime and horror. Comic fantasy will be considered but not if it’s a parade of puns or bad gags. Alchemy Press are not fans of zombies or heroic vampires and will not publish hard science fiction. Essentially, acceptance will be based on how well the novella works for them.

Wat about Vampire anti-heroes?
Dang, my zombie urban astrologically mythical masterpiece will not be accepted.
But novellas 35,000 or less ....
How much is fifty pounds these days?

About $80.

I like the sound of the urban mythic one, I might try that.

Interesting, thanks Mouse.

Two of the three appeal to me, and although I might not have the time to come up with something new, there may well be one or two things floating in the basement.

Bookmarked, especially as my current WIP is threatening to be novella-sized. Thanks, Mouse.
