Is someone able to give me a title on a fantasy book (Torc the one handed?). A warrior of great swordsmanship finally faces a foe of his equal and ultimately sacrifices a hand in combat in order to defeat him. I think the foe/enemy is called the Spider King ( he -& his army? - rode on giant spiders going into war).
Read this book perhaps 25+ years ago as a paperback. Have had no luck locating in book search's on the net so am hoping to jog someones memory.
