ABC of ASOIAF

I'm borrowing this idea from the Tolkien forum, as I think it will work well here with the large amount of material found in ASOIAF.

It's pretty simple. I will start with a word that starts with "A" and the next person to post will list something that starts with "B", and so on. Anything from ASOIAF is fair game. Let's try not to reuse anything, although this may become impossible for some letters the longer this goes on.

Left on a quest to find the ancient ancestral sword of house Lannister (Brightroar) and was never heard of again.

Chief Advisor to the King and implements the Kings wishes. During the books, the position seems to be bad luck for those who hold it.

Ser Mandon Moore member of the Kningsguard. Considered to be the next most dangerous man (by Jaime Lannister) after Jaime lannister. Attempted to kill Tyrion during the battle of the Blackwater. Was pused into the water by Podric Payne and he drowned.

doubles are definitely cool so,

Podric Payne, squire to Tyrion and later to Brienne. Related to Ilyn, maybe his nephew? Very quiet. knows his banners and sigils. Speaks with a bit of a stutter.
