Heroes and villains? This seems just made for DEO! Hmmm contemporary fantasy less fun for me though! This will need some working on :)
 
Oh, I like this one. No ideas at all but this will be fun :)

(fingers crossed the dark and stormy knight comes back!)
 
Hmmm ... theme I like, genre less so. I suspect by the end of writing it will be vice versa. Yet in my usual hurried style I'll have something up by the end of the afternoon.

You called?

I think that would be a tall order for Contemporary Fantasy and I had to google it if I'm honest. However, I'm still very tempted! :) So I've plugged the RAY GUNS into their chargers for some blasting fun. It's always good to blow something up, it gets the creative jucies going.
 
Right up my alley. My WiP is contemporary fantasy. :) Won't be entering though, but looking forward to seeing the entries.

I haven't entered the 75 worder for quite a while now, I think. I kinda prefer just voting. :)

Possibly old, but then so am I. However having heard a lot of Beach Boys in my youth, I never heard that one. It sounds like the Beach Boys doing a bad Beatles impression. Give me "Sloop JohnB" over that any day.

Mouse: You do your own thing, but I would love to hear from you again. You've done some awesome stories in the past. For me "Contemporary Fantasy" sounds like an oxymoron. Something like a bad "Twilight" story. --- There I've proved my point about oxymorons.
 
The Kinks' Celluloid Heroes comes to my mind.

I wish my life were a non-stop Hollywood movie show
A fantasy world full of celluloid villains and heroes...

Parson: I think as far as mainstream groups go I prefer the Kingston Trio's version of Sloop John B.

Also, I think bad Twilight story is a tautology rather than an oxymoron. :p
