Has anyone read this? I've just started it & have to admit I'm grabbed by it, even though I don't exactly have time to read it at the moment!

I finished it. It didn't seem quite as good as I'd thought it might be. Some major characters didn't quite come to life, I guess, which, for the story that I think the author wanted to tell, was a bit of a defect. Perhaps the narrative device of the protagonist writing recollected childhood events for his psychiatrist seemed a bit overly familiar.
