Most remembered for his scene in the first Star Wars movie (I have a hard time calling it Episode IV) as the Empire Commander that Darth Vader chokes (and, if memory serves, one of the very few who actually got a reprieve), Richard LeParmentier passed away yesterday. I hadn't recognized him in some of his other appearances (Superman, Who Framed Roger Rabbit), but I will always remember that scene and the ensuing famous Vader quote "I find your lack of faith... disturbing." Rest in Peace, and thank you for being a part of one of my favorite childhood films.
