Book Versus The Series

Usually when I have read the books a movie or series based on the books is a huge letdown but in the case of Game of Thrones I couldn't be more impressed. Even knowing what is going to happen doesn't take away the enjoyment of this awesome series for me. This series is excellent from props and locations to special effects and especially casting.

One thing that stands out to me is that when I read the books Dani was one of my least favorite characters but on the series she is one of my favorites. Have any characters that you were not excited about in the books won you over on the show?

My feelings exactly Heather, the series has lived up to my expectations.

I have to say though I liked Dany in the books and also series. Ed Stark is exactly as I thought he would be, well done Sean Bean. Arya is perfectly cast as Are most. I don't think there is any one character that I have been disappointed in, Jorah is better in the show than the books and i like Joffery even less than i did in the books which i didn't think was possible. Yes we are missing a few characters but with some of them there essence is in the show.

I agree with you about Joffery but that just tells me what a great lob of acting that he is doing. I can't get enough of Ayra and Tyrion scenes and I even find my self humming the theme music. I am totally hooked.
