For anyone familiar with Jack L. Chalker's works:
I'm currently reading The Wonderland Gambit, also known as The Cybernetic Walrus published in 1995 (the first in a series of three I believe) and I have one puzzling question:
Why did JLC name the first and fourth chapters of the book the same? Does anyone know? They are both titled "The Caterpillar's Question" (a Lewis Carrol - Alice in Wonderland reference).
Why use the same chapter title for two chapters?
I visited the official website for JLC, but it seems to be inactive since he passed away, though his son supposedly has some involvement in furthering his father's work.
I really enjoyed JLC's Well World series and am just getting into the Wonderland books. Though they are a bit dated on the computer terminology this first one has been great so far.
So if anyone can answer my question I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!
