Short story about an alien world sending children's games to Earth.

Quite a few years ago. Very short story about an alien civilization sending three kids' games to Earth. They are known to be devious so the powers-that-be checked out the games for suspected threats and approved only one. This game was played to be won by selling off your own assets and industrial might so that the kids would be used to this action by the time they grew up. A long term strategy that was not recognized by the approving authorities.
Hopefully a short enough story that it can be found on the web.
