hey guys , i was browsing through the thread and did not see the name of my favourite author, so i thought of starting this thread.

now have you guys read his novels , they are great and i have been reading his work and every new novel blows up my mind. i hope some of you take my recomendation and read just 1 and trust me fellas you will be in search for his other novels as soon as you read one.

Thread moved to General Book Discussion, since this is not a YA author. I wasn't even aware that Sheldon wrote anything in the science fiction/fantasy genre. Perhaps someone familiar with his books will mention some that fit?

He wrote a massive space opera called Master of the Game. Basically, if you have read Kane and Abel by Jeffrey Archer, or Dreams Die First by Harold Robbins, then you know the plot. Usual cliches. Flashing spaceships, girls in flimsy spandex spacesuits, men in solid spacesuits defending said females from evil robots with nothing more than a large molewrench, gleaming space stations, grimy spaceports, interstellar trade wars, negative reality inversions, lots of sex with other species. Two grand families: the MacGregors and the Blackwells jousting for position over the Kruger-Brent DiLithium mines: mortal enemies over generations but their scions fall in love, ends happily ever after etc etc.

Thanks. I had no idea. These forums are always an education.

So at least one space opera. Any more?
