Mr Noah Chinn (whose book Bleeding Heart Yard I enjoyed a lot) offered me a guest post on his blog. I was going to weigh in on some of the issues affecting science fiction these days, but instead I wrote a piece about comedy, and some of the challenges it poses for readers and writers. I'm not quite sure how I got through it without mentioning Terry Pratchett, but there you go. I hope it's of interest.
