GOT casting HBO newest casting for season 4 announced !!! possible spoilers!!!

So i just read offically announcing the casting of "The Red Viper" with actor Pedro Pascal. The artical below should link to the full details. I dont know, i have not watched anything he has been in but just based on his phisycal looks im some what disappointed so far, maybe he will surprise me and anyone else doubting the casting choice but personally i had been waiting and wondering who they would pick and in my mind i saw actor Oded Fehr or some one like him. I feel he has that hansome dark look, can be charming and just as easily pull off being a bad a** and dangerous.

does anyone else have thoughts on this? or even previous castings that have been made? Who do we hope to see for some of the other season 4 characters to be introduced?

That guy looks like a good choice for the Red Viper, at least for what I pictured in my mind. Do a google image search with his name to see more photos.

I also like the possibility that they might make Dorne "Spanish/Hispanic". Very fitting if that's the direction they move.

Did a bit of a google search on Pedro and whilst he is easy on the eye, he is not really how I imagined The Red Viper would look like, having said that though when you look at some of the characters in real life they look nothing like their screen characters so he will most likely look very different.

Looking forward to his character though and meeting the rest of the family in later series.

I second that.

In some pictures, Pedro almost looks like a young Liam Neeson, but that's neither here nor there. The only thing I care about is if he can pull off the right swagger. the Red Viper was all about swagger and style and that will be what is important.

Having seen him in a few films I think he has the right panache for the part. I've been wondering who I would like to see play Oberyn and I'm pretty excited about this choice--I think he will do the role great justice.

He's not what I pictured in my head, but I think he looks fine for the role. At least its not as far away from the book character as Daario (looks wise anyway). As long as he can act like the Viper, it works for me.
