This is a fan-produced series of OST as if it continued on -- it starts with Kirk in a holodeck, and there are five episodes.

I can't decide if its brilliant or cheesy or both.

I'm not sure, but there was another fan made series that carried on from the original (must be a about 10 years ago) I saw a few episodes and some of them saw actors from the original series reprising roles.

Not sure if this is the same thing or not, but I do remember one of the episodes was a sequel to the Doomsday Device (or something) and it was not too bad...

I'll have to go looking,

Star Trek The New Voyages

And there we go.

As I recall they started off quite cheesy but got better as they went on, and they are still making them today.

Doesn't that apply to TOS as well? :ninja:

Have to say I just watched the third episode, the follow-up to 'Mirror, Mirror', and found it worryingly enjoyable. The look and feel of it is spot on, even if the guy playing Kirk sounds like Shatner on helium (he's got all his mannerisms and posing spot on, too) :D

It wasn't bad.:)

His pitch bothered me a little. More important, I just did not get the right feel from this rendition. I only made it through one, maybe two of these.

I do give the actor playing Kirk credit for a good effort in trying to resurrect TOS.

I may give it another shot if the later episodes are better than the first one or two.
