Has anyone else seen this anime movie by legendary director Mamoru Oshii? The characters are all very complex and compelling, especially the relationship between the main characters, Kusanagi and Yuichi. It's not just about mindless action although there are a lot of cool fight scenes, but it's a very deep and philosohipical film, as almost all of Mamoru Oshii's works are. The animation is beautiful and the character designs have a sense of believability to how they move like real people. The music, by Kenji Kawai, is a simple but effective score that perfectly conveys the emotions of the film. The ending is very emotional and sad but definitely stick through the ending credits because there's a surprise plot twist after the credits
