The Tain

I just realised I own another Mieville story that I've never read. I bought Pete Crowther's "Cities" anthology so that I could read Paul DiPhillipo's "Year in Linear City", and didn't really look at the rest, but going through my books last night I noticed that the same anthology contained "The Tain".

Now, I have no idea about The Tain at all. Has anyone read it, or could point me towards a review?

"The Tain," as well as the infinityplus review cited by Jayaprakash Satyamurthy, came to my attention during (another) ultimately futile search for a decent translation of "Animales de los espejos" by Borges. Miéville includes an excerpt from the Borges at the end of "The Tain."
