So I'm a raving maniac for Leviathan Wakes and the Expanse universe the writing team known as James S. A. Corey have created, but the end of Caliban's War seems rushed at best, and down right anti-climactic at worst.

SPOILERS:

I'm specifically talking about Holden's second encounter with the vomit zombies, on the doomed UN ship. What little tension is built up is thrown out the air lock before it can properly build. "I'll push it." Of course you will.

Anyone else read that chapter and groan?

I never finished Leviathan Wakes, I was bored right away with this one.

Just finished the series and to be honest, the first book is by far the best. I wouldn't continue if I were you..

I never got past Leviathan Wakes either. Shame because I really enjoyed The Long Price, not sf I know but good.

Yep, I'm another one who didn't think much of Leviathan Wakes

I enjoyed it. Good fun and although I'll never list it as one of my favourite reads, it's ideal train fodder for the journey into work.

Yeah I don't see the problem, the books where never going to be classics but they are fun and easy to read.
