RIP Tom Clancy

Haven't read a Clancy book in years, but when I was a teenager my uncle always read them, so I borrowed them off him and they were really my first foray into adult novels. Solid books, made for some pretty decent films over the years as well. Rest in peace.
 
Red storm Rising was my personal favourite. Brilliant.
 
I'm a great fan of the Jack Ryan novels as well as his stand alone "Red Storm Rising".
Learned a lot about submarine warfare from "Hunt For Red October", got to love those Crazy Ivans.
All in all a good writer who will be sorely missed.
