Fans of Magicka – or moreover, folks who missed out on Magicka – take heed, because a complete edition of the game is coming out.
If you’re not familiar with the Paradox Interactive published title, Magicka is a tongue-in-cheek Norse flavoured action RPG in which four wizards try to take down the bad guys with spells and, at one point, machineguns.
The Magicka Collection contains the original game, the Vietnam expansion which everyone thought was an April Fools joke, and a whole lot of extra downloadable content.
The DLC includes the Survival Kit and Robe Bundle, along with Caverns and Marshlands, Nippon, Final Frontier, Frozen Lake, and Watch Tower.
The Collection will set you back 19.99 Euros which we assume will translate into slightly less in pounds, not a bad price for a reasonable whack of comedy and spell-flinging content.
Paradox is also bringing out the Cities in Motion Collection, its city transport building game, which comes with two expansions, the German Cities and Tokyo, plus a bushel of DLC.
The downloadable content includes Design Classics, Design Marvels, Design Now and Metro Station. Ideal for those with designs on… well, designs.
And if you wanted a third compilation for luck, the publisher has happily obliged with the Hearts of Iron III Collection.
Again this is a bundle featuring the original game, Semper Fi and For The Motherland expansions, and a load of “spritepacks” which introduce new units such as the battleship Bismarck across the allied and axis fronts.
Both of these are more expensive, with the Cities in Motion Collection retailing at 39.99 Euros and the Hearts of Iron III Collection at 29.99 Euros.
