The PC version of the forthcoming Batman: Arkham City video game has been delayed, according to Warner Bros.
Originally, the game was due to be released at the same time as the console editions on October 21st (in the UK), but the release date has now been pushed back to November.
No official reason has been given by the publisher for the delay.
As a consolation to PC gamers, four new screenshots of the game have been released showing Batman in several different scenarios (I’m sure they’ll be thrilled – ed).
The game, which is a follow up to the 2009 hit Batman: Arkham Asylum, sees a section of Gotham City turned into a prison for a number of Batman’s enemies.
The prison is walled off and surrounded by armed guards, but the story follows Batman as he enters the Supervillain hive in order to rescue Catwoman.
In the past few weeks, a number of UK retail outlets have given details of bonus material that they will be giving away with a copy of the game.
If you decide to shop at GAME you will be given the Tim Drake Robin DLC pack, which unlocks Batman’s sidekick as a playable character in the game’s Challenge Mode.
Whilst if you make your purchase from Tesco, you will get access to the Joker’s Carnival DLC – which includes a new Challenge Map.
