Deus Ex: Human Revolution is the latest effort in the famous sci-fi franchise which is due out at the end of this week.
Many keen gamers will have pre-ordered this one, and there’s been a lot of interest in developing goods alongside the IP, such as a book – The Icarus Effect – which was published in February of this year.
And now news reaches us of a clothing range, no less, which is available to purchase from today at this website, fashioned by musterbrand.
Yes, you can dress up as Adam Jensen, security specialist and the hero of the game, with his “iconic” trenchcoat up for grabs. It does indeed look pretty natty, and comes with a detachable vest inside, “signature vented holes” and “structured” sleeves.
However, the coat isn’t cheap at £165.
Other clothing is on sale at the site, too, with Deus Ex T-shirts and jeans up for grabs at considerably more palatable price points.
Apparently the clothing range has been designed with the help of the game developer, Eidos-Montreal, to ensure that the items are as authentic as possible to their virtual in-game counterparts.
Knut Jochen Bergel, CEO at musterbrand, commented: “Standard logoed T-shirts, sweatshirts, and hats are the norm. Musterbrand’s clothing lines are designed by top stylists, woven from the highest quality material, and cut so sharply they should come with a warning.”
“Deus Ex: Human Revolution is already drawing praise for its unique design and playability – we’re aiming to replicate the game’s popularity with our clothing line too.”
