Activision has announced its next zombie-themed content pack for the massive selling shooter Black Ops.
Rezurrection will launch exclusively on Xbox Live come August 23rd, taking players to the moon for their fix of zombie splattering action.
Expect low-gravity shenanigans aplenty, and bloodthirsty undead astronauts who need to be taken down with a range of weaponry including the wave gun, which cooks the unwashed shufflers from the inside out. That’ll smell good, no doubt.
The Rezurrection DLC brings with it the new moon level, naturally, and some additional content. Namely, four remastered zombie levels: Nacht der Untoten, Shi No Numa, Verruckt and Der Riese.
Throw in an enhanced undead soundtrack with three new tracks, and a new zombie moon theme, and that rounds off the content pack.
The bad news is the DLC will cost you 1200 MS points. And the good news for those who bought Black Ops Hardened or Prestige editions is that they (already having the bonus content) will get the rest for free.
Upon the release of Rezurrection, the following weekend will see a double XP bonanza for Xbox players. PS3 and PC owners will have to wait another month before they can play zombies in space, if Activision stays true to form.
At the end of last month, Activision unleashed the Annihilation content pack for Black Ops, which featured four multiplayer maps and a fresh zombie map.
