Damon Lindelof, the Co-Creator of Lost, has been signed up by Disney to pen his own film.
And that film is simply entitled 1952, with very little known about it at the moment.
Apparently it’s a sci-fi adventure which will be family-oriented (obviously), but beyond that, most of what’s floating around the Internet is pure speculation.
To chip our few penneth in, given that the title’s 1952, it would make sense that the flick is based on some famous event which happened in that year, perhaps.
And a quick scan doesn’t reveal anything obvious. It was the year the US detonated the first hydrogen bomb, but we suspect a Disney film probably won’t be focusing in on that particular episode.
Lindelof has been involved in a number of projects recently, including Ridley Scott’s Prometheus (which evolved from an Alien prequel) and he co-wrote Cowboys and Aliens, which is coming out in cinemas this August.
