NCsoft has announced that its veteran MMORPG Lineage II is to be graced with a “High Five” update.

The update, which goes live today, offers a whole host of game improvements that have been made in direct response to player feedback.

So what’s new? Visual enhancements for mobs, for one thing, and fresh skills, over 30 of them in total, including a new hunting system with new buffs. There are also two revamped hunting zones, one indoors and one out.

Add to that seven new raid bosses, and an improved matching system which is designed to encourage more folks to join in on epic raids and battles.

A number of “Grand Olympiad” enhancements have also been implemented, which include new daily quests and rewards, stadiums and visuals, and a limited number of matches per month to make for a fairer competition.

If you want to find out more about the High Five changes then check out the official Lineage II site. The MMORPG is now available for a reduced price, too, and you can bag the game for £9.99. A free two week trial can be had as a taster.
