Blood Bowl: Legendary Edition is about to launch, and Focus Home Interactive has revealed a trailer to accompany the game going on sale.
You can take a gander at it here. The video shows off some of the new stadium locations, such as a pirate ship, and new playable races including the undead (whose cheerleaders look even more skeletal than the average supermodel).
Blood Bowl is based on the classic board game from Games Workshop, and the Legendary Edition introduces 11 new races to make 20 in total.
A new career mode has been bolted on, where players take the role of a freelance coach, and must lead several famous teams through various challenges and a storyline which reveals the origins of the brutal game.
If you’re unfamiliar with Blood Bowl, it’s basically a fantasy version of American football, but a far more violent affair where injuries and even deaths are par for the course, particularly when thugs like the orcs or ogres are in town.
The rules of the video game have also been updated to reflect the latest official rulebook, as used in tournaments.
Blood Bowl: Legendary Edition is out on the PC on October 28th, in both boxed and online downloadable versions. The retail price of the game is £29.99.
