Deep Silver has released a new trailer showing off the gameplay of its Saga Online massively multiplayer real-time strategy game.
You can take a gander at the trailer, which shows the sort of kingdoms you can build up, and battles you’ll experience, over at the Saga website. It’s two and a half minutes long.
Saga Online employs a traditional fantasy setting, with elves and dwarves, orcs and dragons, in fact there are over a hundred different units that can be recruited into your army.
Your forces can be used to fight and expand your territory, or you can go the diplomatic route and complete quests with friends to gain experience and loot. The developers say there are over a thousand quests, so plenty to get stuck into.
The game boasts all the usual trappings you’d expect from a massively multiplayer affair, such as guilds, an auction house, raids and so forth. And perhaps one of its most tempting features is the fact that it’s free to play.
You can check out Saga Online yourself by signing up for the open beta at the website.
