Star Wars: The Clone Wars the Complete Season Two is due out on DVD and Blu-ray come October 25th.
The second animated series encompasses a range of Jedi heroes (Anakin, Obi-Wan, Yoda), space pirates, improbably slimy monsters, mind-controlling brain worms, and the return of a young Boba Fett, out for revenge.
Set between Episodes II and III, the overall plot sees the heroes of the Republic, Jedis and clone troopers, face the might of the Separatists and their army of droids.
Naturally, there are plenty of bonus extras on board the set, such as peeks behind the scenes, interviews with Lucasfilm staff, and Director and Artist commentaries.
A 64 page production journal will also be bundled with the set, filled with concept designs, sketches and notes on the series. Blu-ray buyers will get another added bonus, the Jedi Temple Archives, a database exploring early concept art and animation work, along with special effects footage and other bits and pieces.
The Complete Season Two box set will cost £39.99 on DVD and £49.99 on Blu-ray, with a total run time of 500 minutes (for the episodes, that is).
