2K Games has announced the release of Protector Trials, a downloadable add-on for its sci-fi shooter hit Bioshock 2.
It’s a single player focused episode which casts the player as Big Daddy (not the wrestler) defending Little Sister (not the Queens of the Stone Age song) against swarms of genetically modified Splicers (not Dolly the Sheep).
So yes, it’s a very simple protection scenario, although a challenging one which, we quote, is designed “to push players’ mastery of weapons and Plasmids”.
The DLC includes six new maps, a host of new unlockables, and seven fresh achievements or trophies depending on your system.
It’s available now on the Xbox Live Marketplace for 400 MS Points, and on PSN for $4.99.
