The Bradbury award, as well as the Andre Norton Award for Outstanding Young Adult Science Fiction or Fantasy Book, also award at the banquet, are not official Nebula Awards, but are announced along with the Nebulas.

The Norton Award went to The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making (Catherynne M. Valente, June 2009), by Catherynne M. Valente. It is notable that this novel is available in full on the author’s website but has not been published in book form yet.

Wollheim.

Aside from the awards presented, other news coming out of the Nebula Weekend included the election of author John Scalzi as the next president of the SWFA. He will take office on 1 July.
