The much awaited sequel to Crysis is development according to an announcement by Electronic Arts (EA); Crysis 2 will be launched on the three main platforms, PC, Playstation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360.
The announcement also released some information regarding the background of the game, such as it will be built using a new platform created by Crytek, which should be interesting and that the story is to written by Richard Morgan a well known science fiction writer from the UK.
Where the first game was based in the Pacific, the second storey will move to the urban sprawl of New York city, this is where the alien invaders turn to terrorism and bio warfare to achieve their goal of panic and disruption, the city is hardly recognisable through the flames of burning buildings.
