David Allen
During the 1960’s the series of film starring Charlton Heston and based on an earth ruled by apes, the Planet of the Apes had four sequels and a remake by Tim Burton back in 2001.
The original film made in 1968 shook the world as a team of astronauts crash land on a planet that is run by apes and it is the human race that are slaves.
Now it seems that a Planet of the Apes: Caesar will begin filming in July according to a report in Production Weekly.
Caesar as anyone who has seen the original films was the ape that started the uprising, which turned the tables on humankind.
One of the most significant scenes of the whole series was when Charlton Heston comes across the ruined Statue of Liberty.
