The highly anticipated release of Tron Legacy is not due until later on in the year, in fact in the UK the film is launched on the 26th December, this film will no doubt be boosted by the Christmas holidays and get a great boost into 2011.
But before the film is released, work is beginning on a sequel to Tron Legacy and Disney are pulling out all of the stop by bringing back the writers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz fresh from “Lost” and who worked on the script for Tron Legacy.
The third and final instalment of Tron will make the story into a trilogy and finish off the series nicely.
There is no word as to who will be in the final film, but it is understood that Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund and Olivia Wilde had sequel options written into their contracts.
