Excellent news for science fiction fans, the Sci-Fi channel will be launching the high definition version of the channel on the 13th April on the Virgin Media cable TV network.
It is no big thing in the general day to day running of the UK satellite and cable channels as new HD channels are launched almost every week.
However, for science fiction fans with a cable subscription with Virgin Media TV this will be a momentous occasion as science fiction in HD appears so much clearer and better even on the smallest HD Ready TV screen.
Of course, Sky satellite subscribers have been enjoying the delights of science fiction and fantasy in high definition for some time now, with some exciting content such as V coming along cable viewers can also enjoy the Sci-Fi Channel in HD.
