The US science fiction channel SyFy appears to have a fascination with old fashioned fairy tales, although the channel has had some serious changes to the look and feel of these old time stories of good overcoming the forces of evil.
The next tale to get the SyFy treatment is Little Red Riding Hood, which of course is the story of a little girl being played by sly old wolf.
But the SyFy Channel sees this from a different angle, little Red Riding Hood will be played by Felicia Day from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the wolf of course will be a werewolf and little Red Riding Hood is the fearless werewolf hunter.
The series will be made by Entitled Films and is due to premiere in 2011.
