There are some serious danger signals appearing in the two science fiction new boys, Caprica and FlashForward, both series are displaying signs failure as viewer figures are falling and FlashForward has already seen its first series cut by one episode.
With FlashFoward the loss of several show runners has not helped the cause, and therefore it is highly unlikely that ABC will renew it unless there is serious reversal of fortune.
However, it is the Battlestar Galactica spin off or prequel that is more disappointing than anything else. It has too many threads running through it and at the end of each episode is the viewer compelled to return, it does not seem so.
Both shows will almost certainly run through to the end of the series. However, will we see them return for a second outing?
