It must have been a sight for sore eyes in the Bonham’s Auction Rooms during the recent sale of Dr Who props and memorabilia.
The room would have been filled with avid collectors and maybe the odd fan too, it is a shame that no film was made, as it could have been a serious image for collectors in the future.
Monsters and Daleks fetched thousands of pounds, one full sized white Dalek from the 1988 series, actually went for £15,600 and a Cyberman outfit from the same year was sold for £4,080. However, it was the more personal items that stole the show.
Rose Tyler’s pyjamas fetched a £1,000 a pair, while the popular waitress outfit complete with underwear and boots as worn by Kylie Minogue in a Dr Who Christmas special went for £3,120!
