If there is a series of books that could do with the 3D film treatment then those written by Isaac Asimov has to be way up the list, his stories provoked debates around the world and could be about to do that once more.
It seems that Roland Emmerich has plans for the epic space story Foundation; according to the director Foundation would be brilliant in 3D, especially as Avatar has paved the way for more stories of this nature.
According to Emmerich, Foundation can easily become a trilogy, which is great for science fiction fans, not only will there be Avatar to look forward but the master of sci-fi Isaac Asimov’s Foundation too, this must be the science fiction fans equivalent of dying and going to heaven.
