Most people will know Nina Wadia and the pregnant Indian food guru, Zainab Masood in the BBC soap Eastenders. But according to reports it seems as if she will become one of the new Dr Who’s mortal enemies, playing the role of an evil and twisted psychiatric nurse.
Playing the bad guy in Dr Who could be the kiss of death for the actor chosen, but it seems since the rebirth of the series, almost any role could be seen as a boost the actors resume and as for playing the bad guy, there must be a long queue waiting for those roles.
As for Nina, this is a role that has come at the right time, as it turned out to be a welcome break for the actress.
