The computer games producer Electronic Arts has announced that a sequel to science fiction game Dead Space is well into production and will be launched at some point between January and March 2011.
Dead Space 2 as the game has been imaginatively called will be released for both handhelds and consoles, although the game will be launched during the first quarter of 2011, it is not likely to become available for general release until the fourth quarter of the year.
The is no mention of PC’s, it was believed that the games would be available for PC users, but in the press release the company only mentioned consoles and handhelds, whether this is an over sight or not will remain to be seen. There will be a lot of unhappy PC users if this is true.
