David Allen
Now for anyone trying to forget, Daredevil was made in 2003 and starred Ben Affleck in the main role, it was cut to shreds by the critics and as a result did not do that well at the box office either.
So why is Fox revisiting Daredevil?
It seems that the next Daredevil film will not be a prequel or a sequel; Fox have brought David Scarpa the writer of The Day The Earth Stood Still in to write a reboot of Daredevil.
Fox own the film rights to Daredevil, but only if they continue to make films based on the character no doubt within a certain timeframe, should they fail to stick to these rules then it is believed that the film rights will revert back to Disney and Marvel.
