David Allen
An original but as of yet unseen science fiction web series called Trenches, has been acquired by Sony Pictures and will be shown for the first time on the company’s video site crackle.com
The series was originally produced by Stage 9, the Disney owned digital production company that was dissolved into abc.com never to be seen again.
This could have meant that the ten six minute episodes may never be seen, but it now seems that crackle.com will be putting the show on during February.
Trenches takes place on a planet far away, a rescue mission fails leaving a young soldier in charge of a unit, and they have to make their peace with enemy in order to fight a more aggressive opponent. Animal type beasts that seek only to destroy everything in their path.
