It looks as if the Fox network may be planning a US based version of the BBC’s hit show Torchwood, it is no secret that Russell T Davies the writer and director of the science fiction show, based in Wales has been spending a lot of time in US.
If the series gets the go ahead then it is likely that he would head up the production of the show and possibly take the UK shows star John Barrowman with him.
Torchwood is a spin off from Doctor Who, but was mainly located in Wales, whereas a US version is likely to take on a global perspective, but at the moment no firm plans are made.
In fact the BBC is planning a fourth series due to begin filming this year.
