Imagine what would happen if aliens invaded during the late 19th century in say, the American west, there would no contest; the aliens would be able to form a secure landing zone and take the planet from their desert base.
Obviously the aliens should have studied the Wild West first, because the Native Americans and the land grabbing cowboys may be mortal enemies, but an alien invader would be just the thing that could make them settle their differences and fight the common enemy.
This is the story of Cowboys and Aliens, the film that Robert Downey Jr, has just turned down and something that James Bond actor, Daniel Craig just might be interested in taking on the role of Jake Johnson the leader of the cowboys.
