For a lot of science fiction fans the prospect of aliens fighting cowboys in the Wild West makes for a very exciting and different story.
Cowboys and Aliens has been kicking around for some time, it’s the story of an alien invasion, but this time it is set at the beginning of the 20th century in the wild west, the only thing between the aliens and world domination is the cowboys and native American’s.
Robert Downey Jnr was to have played the lead role of cowboy Zeke Jackson, but it seems that another film set in the same time period but across the Atlantic Ocean, appears to be a better prospect.
Having grossed around $300 million Sherlock Holmes has found a new audience and a sequel is inevitable.
