It is funny how such a wonderful and much awaited film like JJ Abrams version of Star Trek can soon be forgotten, especially as other interesting science fiction films are released and some like Avatar, have created a whole new generation of fans.
So the studios need to get their collective acts together in order to keep the franchises going and as such Paramount have released some details on the follow up to Star Trek, but it’s not good because the studio is talking about a June 2012 release for Star Trek 2.
This means that fans are going to have to wait well over two years for the next instalment of the film; it will be probably be greeted with as much enthusiasm as the first film and bring in the next generation of fans.
