It seems that directors of films, especially those films that are laden with special effects are going to have to make the decision whether to go with 3D technology or not, with the format becoming popular there will become a time when 3D is a standard.
But until then, film such as the remake of The Clash of the Titans, for this film is seems 3D would be a great asset, the studio has just released a trailer where it is clear 3D would enhance the audience’s experience.
However the studio simply has not got the time to premiere it in 3D so that does not rule out a re-release of the film in 3D, but until then film goers are going to have to stick with plain old 2D for now.
