David Allen
When a favourite actor decides to leave a successful show, there are bound to be rumours as to why.
This has been happening as David Tennant leaves the role of the Doctor in the hugely successful BBC science fiction series Dr Who.
The actor has been connected with several projects in development but the best one would seem to the part of the Riddler in the follow up to the Batman movie, The Dark Knight.
It is well known that David Tennant is a fan of the sixties version of Batman, which all adds to the speculation.
However it seems that the actor has had no contact with the filmmakers and therefore this would seem to be just another speculative rumour, although you have to admit he would have made a really good Riddler!
