In the 1950’s the Creature from the Black Lagoon was an immediate hit despite the obvious rubber outfit and cheesy acting.
The made a few cameos in later film such as the Monster Squad, but following the recent trend to take classic films and remake them will see the return of the creature to add the growing list of remakes.
Surprisingly the film has been knocking around for while, but with a new director on board could this be the time when the creature finally returns from past, according to the LA Times, Carl Rinsch has signed up for job, the former director of commercials has been looking for a route into films.
So it seems that the Creature from the Black Lagoon will surface once more.
