David Allen
The prequel to Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit has been kicking around for some time and for much of that time both Peter Jackson and Guillermo Del Toro have said that they have in mind who they would like to have to play the part.
But as of yet only the role of Gandalf is known, Sir Ian Mckellen is not likely to let that role slip through his fingers.
So it turns out that the serious casting for the roles is to start this week, it shouldn’t be that hard as over the time period that Lord of the Rings ran, they must have noticed plenty of talent.
The main role is that of Bilbo Baggins, and the rumour is that James McAvoy is being lined up for that role.
